Baral is an Executioner of the Claw.

Appearance

Baral wears a black belted trench coat, a neck tie by his collar, a rusted metallic helmet and gauntlet. He has three Serums, the green being Serum K, the orange being Serum R, and the blue being Serum W.

Personality

Baral, as an Executioner of the Claw, is privy to most of the secrets of the Head. As a direct consequence, he is able to assert the current combat capabilities of Roland before the fight. While he does this, he appears intimidating and concise, even during the heat of battle. This complete focus on their objective leads him to be caught off-guard by Binah later however.

Story

Baral, along with Luda (a Beholder of the Eye) and Zena (an Arbiter of the Head) arrive as the final uninvited guests. They are tasked with the primary objectives of relocating Nest L and the Library to the Outskirts, and the extermination of Angela as she is in violation of the AI Ethics Amendments Code. As a side objective, they are also tasked with retrieving Binah for an unknown purpose.

Baral appears at the post-finale boss battle as an indestructible boss along with Zena.

He starts off with unknown HP and unknown Stagger. Baral has two Speed Dice of 4~6, gaining an additional Speed Die on turn 5, and starts at 6 Light. He also starts with a buff that negates the first attack used against him which rolls over 30. Winning a clash against him with that combat page still negates his die, but On Hit effects of the librarian's Combat Page do not take effect, and the librarian's Combat Page deals no damage. However, the buff will be removed after this happens.

There is no information about his Key Page, and no passives listed inside his page. Due to the nature of the boss fight he is situated in, even if his HP drops to 0, he does not die.

• Baral's serum-focused combat pages, Serum W, Serum K, and Serum R, point towards W Corp, K Corp, and R Corp based on the performed attack.
• All of Baral's attacks mirror the Midnight Ordeal of White in Lobotomy Corporation, dubbed "The Claw", albeit to a much greater effect.
• Baral has 800 HP and 450 Stagger Resistance, though these figures are not visible to the player. Dealing at least 600 damage to him ends the fight at the start of the next Scene.
