If I kill them first… then no one would be killed by the beast!

The suppression of Big Bird is the first Abnormality battle on the BinahIcon.pngFloor of Philosophy. It can be unlocked in StarCityIcon.png Star of the City by obtaining the LiuAssociationIcon.png Book of Lowell, LiuAssociationIcon.png Book of Cecil and the LiuAssociationIcon.png Book of Mei. Completing it raises the floor's Realization Level to II and unlocks new Abnormality Pages (see below).

Overview

Formation

  • Big Bird ×1
  • Eyeball Chick ×2

Strategy

A librarian will be enchanted every 3 scenes, making them attack Big Bird and forcing them to play into Salvation, an instantly-killing counter die. The other librarians will receive the card Birdcage, allowing them to prevent the enchanted librarian from attacking into it. Killing an enemy Eyeball Chick gives a card to clash against Big Bird in and stagger it in return.

  • Ranged pages can safely clash against Salvation to keep the EnchantedIcon.png Enchanted librarian alive.
  • Focusing entirely on one Eyeball Chick at a time is recommended to avoid prolonging the fight too much.
  • SmokeIcon.png Smoke and MarkIcon.png Mark help kill Big Bird in one scene while its staggered.

Enemy Units

Big Bird

Behavior

Trivia

  • Big Bird, Punishing Bird, and Judgement Bird share the exact same background, reflecting their common origins in the Black Forest.
  • The Eyeball Chicks look similar in appearance and concept to the small eyeball birds following Big Bird in the original short comics where Big Bird was originally created. The now discarded lore explained those eyeball birds as baby versions of the same species Big Bird belongs to.
