Big and Will be Bad Wolf is an Abnormality Enemy, being the second Abnormality Battle on the Floor of Language. Defeating Big and Will be Bad Wolf will make GeburaIcon.pngGebura's Floor level up to Level 3 and provide its 3 Abnormality Pages: CoinPositiveIcon.png Instincts, CoinNegativeIcon.png Claws of Savagery, and CoinPositiveIcon.png The Role of the Wolf.

Big and Will be Bad Wolf's stage consists of a forest landscape with a grassy field and several trees in the background. A ramshackle house is present on the right, covered in claw marks. The entire stage is stained with blood and is lit up by a bright blue full moon. This bright blue turns into a crimson color once the Big and Will be Bad Wolf transforms.

Big and Will be Bad Wolf starts of as an enemy called 'A Wolf'. It has the appearance of a tall, bipedal wolf with blue-gray fur and white paws, tail and bellybutton. It has thick black eyebrows, and a scar on its left eye. A Wolf has 400 HPIcon.png HP and 60 StaggerIcon.png Stagger. It has 3 SpeedIcon.png Speed Dice of 2~5 and starts at 5 LightIcon.png Light.

Big and Will be Bad Wolf has a more animal-like appearance, becoming quadrupedal and more furry. Its front legs have large claws and are coated in blood. The entire body is coated with several bloodstains and scars. Its eyes glows blue, and a similar blue mist is emitted from its mouth. Both forms of the enemy resemble the respective Abnormality from the prequel game, Lobotomy Corporation. In this form, it has 100 StaggerIcon.png Stagger and 3 SpeedIcon.png Speed Dice of 3~6.

A Wolf uses a Deck of 4 Abnormality Exclusive Combat Pages. It has 4 Passive Abilities:

  • AbnormalityAbilityIcon.png Speed II: DiceSlotIcon.png Speed Dice Slot +2
  • AbnormalityAbilityIcon.png The Role of the Wolf: Every 2 Scenes, uses a Combat page that swallows the target on hit. The consumed librarian is excluded from battle for the next Scene.
  • AbnormalityAbilityIcon.png Hour of Poetic Justice: After swallowing a librarian, all StaggerIcon.png Stagger Damage resistances change to "Fatal" for the next Scene. If the Wolf is DiceBrokenIcon.png Staggered within the Scene, expel the captive librarian. The librarian loses 25% of their HPIcon.png Max HP upon being expelled and becomes DiceBrokenIcon.png Staggered.
  • AbnormalityAbilityIcon.png Destined to be the Big Bad Wolf: If the Wolf does not get DiceBrokenIcon.png Staggered after the Scene it swallows a librarian, the librarian is killed and the Wolf transforms into a powerful state. The Wolf also transforms if its HPIcon.png HP is at 50% or lower at the start of a Scene. HPIcon.png HP does not fall below 30% before transforming.

Big and Will be Bad Wolf uses a Deck of 4 Abnormality Exclusive Combat Pages. It has 5 Passive Abilities:

  • AbnormalityAbilityIcon.png Speed II: DiceSlotIcon.png Speed Dice Slot +2
  • AbnormalityAbilityIcon.png Transform: Upon transforming, StaggerIcon.png Max Stagger Resist increases, and StaggerIcon.png Stagger Resist is recovered to full.
  • AbnormalityAbilityIcon.png Into the Dark: After the Abnormality loses 25% or more of the HPIcon.png HP it had at the point of transformation, gain the 'Skulking in the Shadows' status for the next 2 Scenes.
  • AbnormalityAbilityIcon.png Shadowy Lurker: While the Abnormality has the 'Skulking in the Shadows' status, librarians other than the ones targeted by the Abnormality cannot target it.
  • AbnormalityAbilityIcon.png Weariness: After 'Skulking in the Shadows' wears off, all StaggerIcon.png Stagger Damage resistances change to "Fatal" for a Scene.

Behavior and Deck

A Wolf's deck revolves around inflicting BleedingIcon.png Bleed and eating the librarians. Every 2 Scenes, the Wolf will use I'll Gobble You Up!! in an attempt to swallow a target. Blood appears at the borders of the screen when the Wolf uses this attack. If the Wolf successfully swallows a target, it will use Wolf! Wolf! and its Stagger Damage resistances change to "Fatal" for the Scene. If the remaining librarians DiceBrokenIcon.png Stagger the Wolf, the swallowed librarian will be expelled, losing HPIcon.png HP and becoming DiceBrokenIcon.png Staggered. Otherwise, the Wolf will eat the librarian and transform. The Wolf also transforms after its HPIcon.png HP drops to 50% or lower. When either condition is met, a close-up of the Wolf's bright blue, glowing eyes are shown before it transforms.

Big and Will be Bad Wolf's deck revolves around inflicting BleedingIcon.png Bleed and using Counter Dice to gain StrengthIcon.png Strength. It uses Howl every Scene (except when it is 'Skulking in the Shadows'). After losing 25% or more of the HPIcon.png HP it had when it transformed, it gains the 'Skulking in the Shadows' status for 2 Scenes. It will target one librarian with two copies of Ambush and will become untargetable by other librarians. After this status wears off, its Stagger Damage resistances change to "Fatal" for a Scene.

Trivia

  • Big and Will be Bad Wolf appeared in the prequel game, Lobotomy Corporation, as a WAW Abnormality, with a similar appearance.
  • In its second form, Big and Will be Bad Wolf uses similar Combat pages to 'Wolf in her Nightmares' from the Little Red Riding Hooded Mercenary Abnormality battle. It also uses the same sprite when it is 'Skulking in the Shadows'.
