E.G.O. (Extermination of Geometrical Organ) is a type of personalized equipment manifested from an individual's mind. In 
Lobotomy Corporation, the Extraction Team was responsible for extracting E.G.O. from the 
Abnormalities using Cogito, the singularity of Lobotomy Corporation. After the White Nights and Dark Days, the Seed of Light was spread throughout the City, and some denizens gained the ability to manifest their own E.G.O. If one fails to manifest their E.G.O. and gives in to their negative emotions, they may become a 
Distortion instead.
Although E.G.O. are manifested from a specific individual, anyone who can use E.G.O. can use another individual's E.G.O. This comes with a risk, as using another person's E.G.O. is akin to putting the shell of another individual's ego around oneself. This can cause one to lose oneself to the E.G.O., or risk not being able to draw out the equipment's true potential.
In The Distortion Detective, E.G.O. are termed "Psychoment" by YuRia.
In Library of Ruina
Once you complete a Floor Realization, that floor gains access to the E.G.O. Pages of the abnormalities of that floor. These are powerful combat pages that can be used at Emotion Level 3 or above.
List of E.G.O. Users
- Kali uses her own E.G.O. as armor/weapon, although her weapon is a prototype of the E.G.O. of the abnormality Nothing There.
- Philip almost managed to manifest his own E.G.O, but crossed the line into becoming a Distortion.
- Xiao managed to manifest her own E.G.O. - an enormous guan dao with the ability to control flame - after losing her husband Lowell in The Library.
- The Library is the E.G.O. of Angela.
- Moses uses a smoking pipe that enables her to perform breath attacks.
- Ezra can manifest a suit of armor with the assistance of YuRia.
- YuRia's E.G.O. is an entire workshop that can be accessed by her through any door; this workshop not only has the ability to create equipment, but modify others' E.G.O. and assist people in manifesting their own.
- Taii awakened their E.G.O. through resonating with the E.G.O. of Staining Rose.
