Contents

The book's authorship is attributed to Roland and Angela, and it contains their in-character descriptions of the various characters and Guests seen in-game. There are also occasional in-character annotations by the other Patron Librarians "proofreading" the pages, denoted by different text colors and fonts. The book features all stage backgrounds, character portraits, and story artwork, as well as all character sprites and all Combat, Abnormality, and E.G.O. Page artwork used in-game, separated by Floor and/or by Guest faction. Many pages also contain comments from Project Moon, clarifying details about the development and story of Library Of Ruina.

The art book is separated into two volumes with a total of 622 pages. Volume I contains 447 pages, while Volume II contains 175 pages.

Vol. I

Volume I covers The Library, the Patron Librarians, and the first nine Floor Realizations, as well as all Guests (including General Invitations) from the CanardIcon.png Canard to StarCityIcon.png Star of the City chapters.

Vol. II

Volume II covers all receptions from the ImpuritasIcon.png Impuritas Civitatis chapter. It also contains concept art and unused illustrations for Patron Librarians, E.G.O. suit designs, Guest groups, Abnormality Pages, and more. The book ends with four pages of comments from the development team. Each translated version of the art book (English, Chinese, and Japanese) has some additional words from its respective translators.
