Tenma is a Fixer of Section 2 of the Shi Association's Southern Branch.

Appearance

Tenma is a young woman of short frame who wears the Shi Association uniform. It consists of a black jacket with red stripes at the hem, sleeves and collar that covers her lower face. It's embellished with a fastened belt, various buttons and an insignia on her shoulder like Yujin. She wears a red skirt, black leggings and ankle boots with stripes and steel trim. She has long black hair decorated with a red ribbon, a white eyepatch over her right eye and cheek, and wears black gloves. Like Valentin and Yujin, she fights with a katana and carries a saya, as she is a fixer of the Shi that work much like assassins. However, she also carries a wakizashi, a shorter katana and uses both swords in combat.

Personality

Tenma is an empathetic and loyal fixer that fights alongside Valentin and Yujin in the Shi South Section 2 division of the Shi Association. She has a great amount of respect for Yujin, claiming she will become 'president of the Shi' one day and resolve the corruption that lies in the organisation. However, she is not blind to the fact that the team's condition is deteriorating, showing concern for Yujin who has fought harder than the rest of the group to make sure Valentin and Tenma don't have to carry the whole of the struggle. Like Valentin, she knows that winning each conflict will mean another will ensue, and the struggle will never end if the Blue Reverberation remains at large. In spite of this, she follows Yujin to battle, only hoping she won't harm herself for the sake of the Section 2 fixers.

Story

Following the Blue Reverberation's abandonment of his post, Yujin, Tenma and Valentin fight their way through his assigned requests and eventually are ordered to infiltrate the Library. Yujin aims to replace the Shi's leaders, like Thelma, in order to bring back its former glory and stamp out the corruption in the association, with full support from Tenma and Valentin. However, they are not in condition to fight, and make their last stand in the Library in order to find the root of what Argalia is planning through the memories of the Musicians of Bremen, and potentially gain an edge in the political stage of the City.

From the receipt of the request to preparation for execution, every step of an assassination is carried out covertly. Discreet killing is the Shi Association’s specialty. An all-out war in open fields where numerous people clash at once is not our preferred form of battle (though, it’s one of the areas where the Liu Association excels); we truly shine when we operate in small numbers. We pursue extreme efficiency in order to kill our target within the limited window of opportunity. Also required is the ability to make quick assessments of the situation in order to swiftly strike the target’s vital point with minimal movement. The demand for assassination requests is pretty high these days as the most surefire way to eliminate people armed with high-quality workshop equipment on top of body augments is sneaking up on them for a fatal blow when they least suspect it. Still, the streets aren’t being filled with corpses of assassinated targets because there are Fixers whose job is to kill those who were hired for assassination. Fixers are continuing their fierce strife no matter the place.
