The Knight of Despair is the second Abnormality suppression of the Floor of Natural Sciences. It can be unlocked in Urban Plague by obtaining the Book of Tomerry, Book of Oscar and Book of Wedge Office. Completing it raises the floor's realization to III and unlocks a fourth librarian on its floor.
Cannot be targetted, but does not act. Begins the fight in "Sorrow" state. When a Sword of a Forgotten Knight with Tears takes lethal damage, the Knight of Despair falls into Despair. In this state, if a Sword fails to deal damage to any player units, the Knight of Despair is impaled by it. Once all 3 swords impale the Knight, she will become staggered and lose her invulnerability for that Scene only. After that, it returns to her Sorrow state.

Behavior
A random Sword gains the effect Tears every 3 scenes. When it takes lethal damage, the Knight of Despair falls into Despair. The Sword with Tears gains a speed die, uses the pages Sword Sharpened with Tears Sword Sharpened with Tears ( 0) 4~8 This die deals damage equal to (Dice value x 2)% of target’s Max HP (Ignores resistances) 3~5 3~5 and Sword Laced with Grief Sword Laced with Grief ( 0) 2~9 3~6 This die deals damage equal to (Dice value x 2)% of target’s Max HP (Ignores resistances) 3~5 This die deals damage equal to (Dice value x 2)% of target’s Max HP (Ignores resistances), and its resistances all change to Ineffective except for pierce, which becomes Fatal.
When the Knight falls into Despair, all Swords fully recover HP and Stagger Resist, and use special Combat pages. In this phase, the Speed of all Swords is fixed at 1, and each sword uses one of the following combat pages: Heart-piercing Sword Heart-piercing Sword ( 0) If this fails to deal any damage to its target, the sword will impale the Knight of Despair, dealing damage to her 5~10 This die deals damage equal to (Dice value x 2)% of target’s Max HP (Ignores resistances), Heart-tearing Sword Heart-tearing Sword ( 0) If this fails to deal any damage to its target, the sword will impale the Knight of Despair, dealing damage to her 4~8 This die deals damage equal to (Dice value x 2)% of target’s Max HP (Ignores resistances) 4~7 This die deals damage equal to (Dice value x 2)% of target’s Max HP (Ignores resistances), and Heart-breaking Sword Heart-breaking Sword ( 0) If this fails to deal any damage to its target, the sword will impale the Knight of Despair, dealing damage to her 3~8 This die deals damage equal to (Dice value x 2)% of target’s Max HP (Ignores resistances) 3~7 This die deals damage equal to (Dice value x 2)% of target’s Max HP (Ignores resistances) 2~6 This die deals damage equal to (Dice value x 2)% of target’s Max HP (Ignores resistances). Strategy
Be aware that the sword affected with Tears resists all but pierce damage.
As long as at least 1 librarian can stagger it soon enough with pierce attacks, it's still fine to have cards with other damage types.
In Despair phase, the Swords all use ranged pages, so a melee page with a single strong die can clash against all their dice.
Singular StrikeWhen using a Combat Page with one non-Counter die, the die gains +2 Power, and it yields twice as many Emotion Points in a clash. is especially helpful for this purpose.

Having failed those she was meant to protect, she quickly fell into despair.
The Knight of Despair has the appearance of a pale girl with blue hair that gets darker and turns to black at the end of her hair. Her head is topped with a tiara that has three spade shaped endings. Half of her head is black with sharp horn segments coming out of it. The other half of her head is her pale skin tone with a black tear on her cheek. The upper part of her arms show her normal skin while her forearm is covered by the black coloring. Her dress starts at her chest with a grey coloring and black spade on her breast, and as it moves down it turns to blue and then to black at the end. There is a noticeable galaxy-like pattern in her hair and dress. A white translucent cloak comes off of her back. Surrounding her are 3 floating dark blue swords, highlighted in Blue.
