Color Fixers, or Colors, are the highest-ranked and highest-skilled [Fixers] in [the City]. They are at the top of the Fixer hierarchy, and do not fall under the traditional Fixer grade number system. Instead, each of these Fixers possesses a unique personal title based around a certain color.

Description

Color Fixers are specially designated by the [Hana Association], an honor given only to select Grade 1 Fixers who have distinguished themselves through their prowess, and are then presented by the Associations as the "ideal" Fixers. Due to their status, Colors are given freedom from the traditional Office and Association hierarchy, being free to pursue their business in any way they like. As such, all Fixers who strive for freedom seek to eventually become Color Fixers, though very few will actually end up achieving their dream.

As a result of their skill level, Color Fixers are typically the first choices for dealing with Star of the City-level threat requests.

No two Color Fixers are alike, and each one has their own methods, combat style, and specialties. According to [Liwei], the usage of "Colors" was chosen in order to make the Color Fixers more well-known with a title to describe their characteristics. Notably, each Color Fixer's attire is completely themed after their assigned color.

Angelica's poem:

"I have nothing but my sorrow and I want nothing more. It has been, it still is, faithful to me.

Why should I begrudge it, since during the hours when my soul crushed the depths of my heart, it was seated there beside me?

O sorrow, I have ended, you see, by respecting you, because I am certain you will never leave me.

Ah! I realize it: your beauty lies in the force of your being. You are like those who never left the sad fireside corner of my poor black heart.

O my sorrow, you are better than a well-beloved: because I know that on the day of my final agony, you will be there, lying in my sheets, O sorrow, so that you might once again attempt to enter my heart."

–Francis Jammes, Prière pour aimer la douleur ("Prayer for Loving Sorrow")

Director, Main Scenario Writer This is the game that marks the proper beginning of Project Moon's universe. I wanted to set the outlines of the City with this story.
Updates during the Early Access period were carried out like publishing a weekly comic series. Seeing the reactions and impressions from players each week was a source of excitement and anticipation, and it was a great motivator to continue development. However, the schedule also left little time for testing and led to many bugs and balance issues, which I am truly sorry for. Following Angela and Roland's journey over the last year with the players at our side has been an enjoyable experience, and I hope you can join us for more adventures in the future.

Game Designer, Sound Designer, Project Manager The Early Access release still feels like yesterday, yet here I am, writing my comments for the artbook as we prepare for full release. It was an eventful year, to say the least. Earlier in development, I mostly directed poses and effects. But since the addition of Abnormality battles, I took charge of designing those as well as realizations. I tried out all kinds of stuff I wanted to do in the beginning, and by the time we reached the upper floors, I had to rack my brains for a unique idea. Still, the hardships I faced allowed me to improve that much more, and seeing people enjoy the updates filled me with so much joy and pride. Thank you so much to the players who enjoyed Library Of Ruina, and everyone who worked hard to develop the game, including the staff at Project Moon, and the people at Studio EIM, and Mili! :)

Story dialogue?

Pre-Battle

Location: Thumb Southern Base - Meeting Room
Kalo (Thumb Sottocapo):
Thank you for participating in the Thumb summit, everyone.
Those Attending:
Yes, underboss.
Kalo (Thumb Sottocapo):
It’s good to see our families gathered up in one place. Let’s see…
We have nineteen seats filled. That means all but one family have attended.
Katriel (Thumb Capo):
That’s Rumanos Cartel. They’re still in the process of reorganizing structure after being attacked by the Black Silence a while ago.
Kalo (Thumb Sottocapo):
Still recovering, I see… Thanks for the report.
Cut those friends off. We don’t need a toothless mutt that can’t rearm itself with that much time.
Katriel (Thumb Capo):
Understood.
Kalo (Thumb Sottocapo):
Today’s issue is simple.
Take your hands off L Corp’s Nest and the Library. The Thumb will be in direct command of the matter from now on.
I’d like to give a word of appreciation for the families that have shown much effort. And…
Kurokumo Clan Captain (Kurokumo Clan):
Bullshit! You have no idea how many of our members died for that!
Ramier Family Underboss (Ramier Family):
Our family already poured a tremendous sum of money into this!
Kalo (Thumb Sottocapo):
Who gave you the right to speak up?
Boris (Thumb Capo):
You gotta stay quiet when an elder is talking, pals. You know better than that.
Denis (Thumb Capo):
When a subordinate dares to speak without their superior’s permission, take their lower jaw… Remember the rules.
Ramier Family Boss (Ramier Family):
I apologize on behalf of my underling.
Kurokumo Clan Patriarch (Kurokumo Clan):
Please forgive the rudeness of my subordinate. I’ll educate this half-witted fool on my end later.
However, I must say that I share their sentiment in all honesty. Why should we back out now, after we’ve given so much effort?
Kalo (Thumb Sottocapo):
I understand how disappointing it may be. All of you have spilled much blood in order to earn your share of turf before the street relocation happens.
I wish I could give out a sizable chunk of the land for each and every family who have gathered here, I really do.
But the capo dei capi demands otherwise. We have no choice but to obey it.
The situation outside is going in an unexpected direction.
A party other than the Index is involved in this conflict. The ones who pilfered our fabric…
Kurokumo Clan Patriarch (Kurokumo Clan):
I am deeply ashamed, sire.
Kalo (Thumb Sottocapo):
Don’t be too hard on yourself, now. I’ll pardon your manners by taking only your left hand.
Kurokumo Clan Patriarch (Kurokumo Clan):
Thank you, sire!
Kalo (Thumb Sottocapo):
Do understand that we can’t let such trivial issues distract ourselves in times like this.
We must carry out the capo dei capi’s orders first and foremost.
Night Awls Leader (Night Awls):
…Just what is the capo dei capi thinking to make demands like this.
Denis (Thumb Capo):
When one dares question the orders of their superior, take their head…
Kalo (Thumb Sottocapo):
How insolent of you to question the intentions of the capo dei capi. Such impure thoughts should be uprooted.
Purge every member of the Night Awls by tonight.
Katriel (Thumb Capo):
Yes, sire. I’ll give the word.
Ramier Family Boss (Ramier Family):
Talk about an impatient young fellow. It couldn’t have hurt to quietly wait.
Kalo (Thumb Sottocapo):
The capo dei capi has told me outright. The Index…
Yes, our boss insisted that we mustn’t let the Index claim a single area of L Corp’s Nest.
But you, my friends, don’t quite have the prowess to take on the Proxies of the Index. Hence the order to pull out.
Kurokumo Clan Patriarch (Kurokumo Clan):
So we should save up our strength at the moment. I understand now.
Kalo (Thumb Sottocapo):
This goes to the other sottocapi of the Thumb and their families as well.
Our ambition is not something as short-sighted as taking over a few blocks of space. Do you understand?
Those Attending:
Yes, underboss.

Location: Inside the Library
Angela (Library Director):
The Thumb seems to have a quite rigid structure?
Roland (Servant):
The Index probably gave you a good idea already, but… yeah. The Fingers have rules and hierarchies that I’d only describe as paranoid.
The specifics may be different, but if anyone breaks their rules, that poor fellow is done for. Although each Finger has its own way of purging rulebreakers.
Angela (Library Director):
I suppose that’s the “strategy” they evolved to survive in the City.
Roland (Servant):
Spot on.
Angela (Library Director):
They can only survive by shoving themselves into a sturdy, unbreakable shell.
Roland (Servant):
And the five Syndicates that crammed themselves all the way into the core of that hard shell and stood on the apex of the Backstreets earned the title of the ‘Five Fingers’.
Welp, in any case, our job as the staff of the Library is to receive any guests that come here, and the Thumb is no exception.

Post-Battle

Location: Inside the Library
Angela (Library Director):
It looks like the Thumb mainly use firearms.
They also seemed to use bullets in various ways, as opposed to the Full-Stop Office we received some time ago.
These people would swing the gun itself as a melee weapon, too.
Roland (Servant):
Like I said before, bullets are expensive. Even though the bullets the Thumb uses are self-made, the price is anything but affordable.
They utilize bullets in clever ways depending on the situation, but won’t actually fire them unless it’s a huge deal.
Angela (Library Director):
Does that mean they mostly use their guns as a close-range weapon like that, then?
Roland (Servant):
Yup. A good swing can easily crush human bones. The guns are made using pretty nifty technology and materials.
