Story
Episode 1
Pre-Battle
The episode begins with the three Fixers inside the WARP train station, monitoring
Molar Office's Fixers as they depart aboard WARP train UW-212. They are attempting to track a special observation device that they discreetly placed on the Molar Fixers in order to collect intelligence about
W Corp's Singularity. This job, given to them by
Cane Office, can supposedly net them two hundred million Ahn (the City's currency) if they succeed. Alloc is enchanted by the money and has put his unconditional focus into completing the job. Meanwhile, Bono is fearful about the consequences of being caught spying on W Corp, as nothing will be able to protect them from the Wing's wrath. He continuously voices his doubts about their job. Meanwhile, Dalloc is observing the train and working with their spy device.
The trio track the train after it leaves, monitoring their device, but are shocked it suddenly stops working in the middle of the transit. Alloc and Dalloc both agree that something must have happened aboard the WARP train. This unexpected situation increases Bono's worries, arguing that the device was faulty to begin with or that they have already been found out. Dalloc is fed up and even tells him to "stop whining." Alloc interrupts their developing argument to reveal the Invitation he just received which lists the Books of the Molar Office, less than a minute after the WARP train had left. The trio are aware of the Library and its dangers, but Alloc is unwilling to give up on their mission and intends to enter the Library and discover what happened aboard the WARP train. Bono is less enthused but follows them anyway, only hoping that their situation does not worsen.
Back in The Library, Angela is curious about the people who try to uncover the secrets of Singularities and asks whether they do so in order to use those Singularities themselves. Roland replies that Singularities are patented and thus too risky to copy. Instead, they will try to profit by auctioning off the information to the highest bidder, who will then ransom the Wing by threatening to expose their secrets. Roland explains that this is why Wings try to protect their Singularities, using L Corp. as an example. He is also curious about the events inside the WARP train, but Angela urges him to focus on the guests first.
When the Gaze Office enters the Library, they are bothered by their inability to analyze the area properly. When Angela arrives, Alloc questions how she obtained the Molar Office's books. Angela evades his question and reveals that she knows what he and his colleagues have been doing, which dissuades him. Alloc hopes that the Library's secrets are as profitable as W Corp, and the Fixers enter their Reception.
Post-Battle
Angela wonders about the Singularity of R Corp. and questions Roland to see if he has the answer. Roland assumes it is something which allows them to produce skilled combatants but doesn't know. He asks Angela whether she knows, given that she has had previous contact with R Corp. Angela agrees with Roland based on what she's seen of Myo and the Rabbit Team. She continues to wonder, but Roland tells her that the principle doesn't matter; nobody cares about the process as long as they can use the results. He believes that Angela should understand this from witnessing all of the sacrifices L Corp. made for its mission. Angela understands all too well.
Background
Gaze Office specializes in collecting information, digging up any and all secrets they are requested to uncover. Their style of investigation differs from official organizations like the Seven Association, which mainly gather and compile information over wide networks of sources. Meanwhile, Gaze Office collects intel directly out in the field. Because of this, they will use any method they can, no matter how backhanded, to accomplish their task.[2]
The task which sent Gaze Office to the Library was requested by Nemo, the president of Cane Office. However, Nemo also disregards them as "irrelevant rubbish" and mentions that he only gave them the assignment because a certain client of his ordered him to do so.[3]
Each of the Office's members have completely replaced their bodies with mechanical parts, at exorbitant costs, in order to better specialize in their job. All three Fixers - Alloc, Dalloc, and Bono - are immensely talented on their own, with just one issue: Dalloc and Bono do not work well in a team. It's Alloc's role as a leader to keep the other two from squabbling amongst themselves.[4]

Trivia
- The Gaze Office and the
Brotherhood of Iron are the only two Guest groups to be themed around Paralysis mechanics.
- The "Heterochromatic Pursuer" Battle Symbol is originally a pun in the Korean version of the game. The Korean word that is localized as "heterochromatic" (more literally "colorful") is 알록달록, pronounced Alloc-Dalloc.

The design notes I received said that the weapon was going to be a stick resembling an oboe in shape, but I mistakenly drew an actual oboe, which got the director flustered. Nevertheless, it was approved and put in the game, and Alloc's attacks were accompanied by the instrument's sounds."
