The reception of Index Proxies is the reception of the Proxies of the Index, one of the Five Fingers, in Nest L. It is a two-Act fight with one Floor of up to five Librarians available for use.
It is the second reception of the Index, and the second reception of the left column of Star of the City.
Like the Index Proselytes, the Proxies' passives and decks revolve around the SingletonSingleton A character is 'Singleton' if their Combat Bookshelf does not have any duplicate pages. mechanic. In particular, the Proxies' shared passive Locked PotentialAfter using six unique Combat Pages in a single Act, enter a 'Blade Unlocked' state, which boosts the Power of all dice by 1. adds on to the Singleton mechanic by allowing the Proxies to enter the Blade UnlockedBlade Unlocked Dice Power +1 state and gain a +1 Power buff on top of their other buffs after using six unique Combat Pages. In this state, they will also have access to a special, powerful Combat Page (one for each Proxy). All members of the Index also possess the passive Grace of the PrescriptEach Scene, boost the Power of a random type of Offensive dice by +2, which gives a +2 Power buff to one type of attack die each Scene. The type of die buffed can be determined by the Slash Power-UpSlash Power-Up X Slash dice gain +X Power for this Scene., Pierce Power-UpPierce Power-Up X Pierce dice gain +X Power for this Scene., and Blunt Power-UpBlunt Power-Up X Blunt dice gain +X Power for this Scene. status effects, one of which will be on each given character per Scene.
Index Proselytes carry over their unique targeting mechanic from the previous Index reception: they focus all of their attacks on a single Librarian until that Librarian is dead, and they will exclusively use Combat Pages with die that are currently buffed by Grace of the PrescriptEach Scene, boost the Power of a random type of Offensive dice by +2. Index Proxies do not share either of these traits.
