–Eri

Eri (에리, Eli) is a Grade 8 Fixer working for Yun'sOfficeIcon.png Yun’s Office. She first appears in the same Chapter, Episode 3.

Appearance

Eri has short white hair that is braided around the head, dark skin, and brown eyes. She wears a dark green coat with white buttons and also white high collar, that is wrapped around by a black belt. On her lower half Eri wears a short black skirt along with thigh-high white socks, and dark green and white shin-high boots with small black laces. In combat, Eri uses a large chainsaw that she obtained from a Workshop.

Personality

Eri is overly confident in herself and in her skills despite only being a Grade 8 Fixer and puts others down when she perceives them to be weaker than her.

Story

Eri has been part of Yun'sOfficeIcon.png Yun’s Office for an unspecified amount of time, and recently achieved the rank of Grade 8 Fixer.

In her past, she worked as a Grade 9 Fixer of Yun'sOfficeIcon.png Yun’s Office along with Finn and the rest of the Office's members. After some time, Eri became a more capable Fixer, which led her to be promoted to Grade 8, opening up future job opportunities for her, and upon gathering enough money Eri was able to afford a small body procedure that allowed her to lift her huge weapon just with one hand.

Upon Finn dying in the Library during the Episode 2 of Yun'sOfficeIcon.png Yun’s Office, after being sent by Yun, Eri is contacted by Yun to join him on a visit to the Library along with the rest of his Office. When talking to her, he first mentions that Finn didn't survive his reception as expected, since the young fixer was seen by Yun as someone mediocre that was bound to die sooner or later, Eri comments that she liked Finn's "affable and cutesy attitude" but agrees with his assesment. Yun then congratulates Eri on her promotion to a Grade 8 Fixer. She uses that moment to tell Yun that if he does not provide her with a good salary she might move away to another Office. She reminds him of his personal financial situation, claiming to have heard that Yun is having problems paying his own taxes and the Office's rent. The operator explains that he thinks the Library will be the case that will save his Office and that they will go there since he received another Invitation. And so, Yun, Eri, and the few remaining Fixers sign the Invitation and are transported to the Library. Right upon entering they are greeted by Angela. Eri immediately comments that she doesn't seem that strong. Yun asks her if she might have seen Finn, and she informs him that Finn perished and became a book. Upon hearing what was the novice Fixer's fate, Yun briefly acts sentimental about what happened to Finn, until the Director of the Library questions why he's acting that way when he was the one that sent him to die in the first place. Yun cuts the conversation short by saying that all get exploited and abandoned at some point in their lives, and Angela lets the Fixers enter the Library.

Eventually, Eri dies in the Reception along with the whole Yun’s Office. Dropping the Yun'sOfficeIcon.png Book of Eri which contains her Key Page.

Key Page story

Eri’s Page

You have lots of things to prepare before you can jump into the Fixer business. Starting with choosing equipment, you’ll need clothes to protect your bodily accessories, et cetera… But, before any of that, body augmentation comes first. There’s no point having masterful skills or fancy equipment if your body can’t keep up, y’know? And training hard isn’t gonna do it. There’s a limit to training your body, and the fittest body is still no match for mechanical prosthetics or bionic organs. You gotta be able to keep your body intact to do anything, so you’re pretty much forced to spend a fortune on it.

There’s a ton of methods to enhance your body. Exoskeletons, bionic surgeries, nano-tattoos, prosthetic body parts… You name it. Deciding what workshop tech to employ is up to preference and purpose. Some would want insane muscular strength that could let them carry a power pole one-handed, and others would want ludicrous speed, quick enough to skip over multiple blocks in a split second. It’s so diverse, I could go on forever. You need any ability, they’ve got you covered. The only hurdle is money. In the City, money is what gets you power. That’s why the first thing we notice when we assess our foes is how much they’ve spent on their bodies… Oh, of course, some technologies patented by closed groups like certain Syndicates or Wings are hard to get your hands on even if you have all the cash in the world.

Just look at me, though! It took a teensy little procedure for me to lift this humongous weapon with one hand. This is the kind of power you can get, you see? Body augmentation is more of a necessity than an option these days, so you’ll want to study up on that. You don’t wanna stay a weakling when everyone else’s getting their augmentations, now do you?
