Yun (윤, Yun) is the Operator of the small Yun’s Office. He first appears in the same Chapter, Episode 2.

Appearance

Yun has short blonde hair slightly covering his right eye, light skin, brown eyes and a brown cigarette in his mouth. He wears a gray trench coat with two pockets on each side and shirt with a brownish gray tie with gingham pattern, on his right hand a black glove and on the left one a black ring on the ring finger. On his lower half, Yun wears black trousers, a gray belt, and black shoes. In combat, Yun doesn't use any weapons other than his own two fists.

Personality

Yun is a mostly cold-hearted and cynical man, but secretly still has some sympathy for his Office's workers, especially Finn, whom Yun mostly treats as a brat and even knowingly sends to his death. Despite this, he still ends up showing a limited amount of grief and regret upon finding out about his demise.

Story

Yun has been the Operator of Yun’s Office for an unspecified amount of time since its creation.

In his past, he opened Yun’s Office and employed various low-tier Fixers such as Eri, Finn, and other Grade 9 Fixers. Eventually, the Office started facing financial difficulties due to the fact most requests it acquired were low-paying and were even considered "garbage" by some of its own Fixers.

In the second Episode of Yun’s Office, Finn comes to Yun informing him that the two Fixers that accompanied him haven't returned from the Library after signing its Invitation in the first Episode, claiming that something must have happened to them. Yun tells him that even if they had just disappeared or run off they are still breaching the contract and will be facing expulsion of his Office. After hearing this, Finn states he has a bad feeling about the situation, but Yun shuts him down, sarcastically saying that Finn's "great" Grade 9 Fixer instincts were being wasted on his humble Office. The Operator then states that if he can't find him any proof of the existence of such Invitation, they would not look into it. Finn then points out the mysterious envelope on his desk. Caught by surprise, Yun questions the young Fixer if such a thing was his doing, and after denying it, Finn is asked to leave the room for a moment. After Finn leaves, Yun makes a call to an unknown individual, asking for them to lend him money, so he could contract people to send to the Library now that he has an Invitation. The person in the other side of the line tells Yun to send someone there again to confirm it before lending any sort of monetary support, with some concern and slight disapproval, Yun sends Finn all alone to the Library with the Invitation on his desk.

Upon Finn dying in the Library during the Episode 2 of Yun’s Office, Eri is contacted by Yun to join him on a visit to the Library along with the rest of his Office. When talking to her, he first mentions that Finn didn't survive his reception, but states that it was unsurprising and he was bound to die sooner or later. Eri comments that she liked Finn's "affable and cutesy attitude" but agrees with the Office's operator. Yun then congratulates Eri on her promotion to a Grade 8 Fixer, she uses that moment to tell Yun that if he does not provide her with a good salary she might move away to another Office, reminding him of Yun’s Office's issue paying taxes and rent. The operator explains that he thinks the Library will be the case that will save his Office and that they will go there since he received another Invitation. Yun, Eri and the remaining Fixers sign the Invitation and are transported to the Library. Right upon entering they are greeted by Angela. Yun asks her if she might have seen Finn, and she informs him that Finn became a book due to the fact he perished during his reception on Episode 2. Upon hearing what was the novice Fixer's fate, Yun briefly acts sentimental about what happened to Finn, until the Director of the Library questions his hypocrisiy, stating that he was the one that set him up to fail even knowing he would certainly die. Yun cuts the conversation short by saying that all get exploited and abandoned at some point in their lives, and Angela lets the Fixers enter the Library.

Eventually, Yun dies in the Reception along with the whole Yun’s Office. Dropping the Book of Yun which contains his Key Page.

Finn was bungling in many ways. He had no talent, he refused to take modification procedures, all he armed himself with was a tiny weapon. I didn’t exactly dislike him, though. They say a delicate person like him is nothing short of pathetic here, but he had passion regardless, and he was going to be our colleague from now on. Besides, it’s not too common to see such a passionate fellow in this grueling mess of a City. He was an interesting one. Then why did I exploit him? …“Exploit” is a rather harsh word to describe it, if you ask me. A sloppy kid like him would’ve gotten killed anyway, abducted in the Backstreets and fading away while witnessing his innards getting ripped from his body. And that’s one of the tamer examples I could give. In this City, worse things are happening here and there on a daily basis. If he didn’t die there, he could’ve faced a much more terrible fate somewhere else, isn’t that right? …Nevermind, this is all but rationalization. Think what you want.
